We've had a lovely day! After stockings (after eight a.m. for all but Daniel), we had a leisurely present opening as we ate our breakfast casserole, sipped coffee and visited. Such fun!
The rest of the day was spent snacking and playing with our new toys and napping. We watched Home Alone I tonight at Daniel's request as he'd only seen it once before, two Christmases ago. Some mentioned they weren't going to watch it again, but were later found to be in the audience. :-)
And now it's almost ten-thirty. Daniel is sound asleep; Eric, Cam and Keat are playing a game Cam got, and Ann and Dan are reading. Perfect!

ReplyDeleteHaha! We watched A Christmas Story. Somehow we never get tired of it. And we got a new game -- Ticket to Ride. And at one point there was a jigsaw puzzle.
Did you get snow last night? We did and amazingly, we still have it. We're being very lazy today and wandering around eating cookies. We've decided to order from Panda Express for supper. :-)
DeleteIt didn't snow here until this morning -- no white Christmas. We have maybe an inch. Hallie and Nick are almost home. Milo will leave early tomorrow morning, and we, too, will winterize once again and head for the valley.
DeleteHallie worried that we wouldn't have enough for supper, but the three of us weren't very hungry -- just sandwiches for supper.
